Marianne McGregor Duo
12th July 2026
Scottish Jazz vocalist Marianne McGregor is an exciting new voice in the UK Jazz scene. Her vocals are rich and velvety in tone, with impressive technical agility and a warm sound that ignites old time jazz flair with fresh modern flavour. McGregor is a natural vocal improviser with an Ella-like freedom towards scatting. Gliding through scat-solos like a horn, she swings and brings something rhythmic, with bite and substance.
Marianne has been performing sell-out shows in the UK, commanding her audiences with charm and musical sincerity in every note she sings. With delivery that ranges from gutsy and bluesy to delicate and personal, Marianne’s voice will break your heart and mend it all in one performance. The young singer has made great strides in Scottish Jazz, being awarded ‘Rising Star’ in the Scottish Jazz Awards 2019 and later ‘Best Vocalist’ in the Scottish Jazz Awards 2021. With some international performances already under her belt, Marianne was selected to represent UK jazz with a performance for the British Embassy in Havana, Cuba.
Nicole Smit & Jed Potts
19th July 2026
Established singers and bandleaders, Nicole Smit and Jed Potts take you on a genre-hopping musical journey. These duo performances are a musical conversation; they trade lead vocal duties, sing harmony, and see where the music takes them. Each show is unique and unplanned, but you can probably expect some blues, country, old style R’n’B, and maybe even some jazz standards…
